Her Owl has landed...
Finally! My HSKS3 pal Julianne has finally received her sock kit. It took the scenic route to her via her Mom in New York. I had sent it to her old address in Virginia not realizing that she had moved to Ohio. Thankfully, everything was forwarded to her Mom, and she then sent it on to Julianne. And from the sound of it, she liked everything that I sent...whew! I get soooo nervous sending things to fellow knitters...especially talented ones like Julianne. I really enjoyed this swap and hope to do it again soon! Now that she has gotten her box, I can post a picture of what I sent to her.
The felted bag was a great pattern and I hope to make one for myself at some point. I will have to find the perfect colors. I used a combination of Lambs Pride Wool for the blue and grey and Plymouth Galway for the black stripes. It felted into a nice, thick bag. Yum. I was very pleased with it and I am glad that Julianne likes it too!
Now I just have to finish up my Ravelry Scarf Swap project for my pal Linda. I am also really enjoying this knit and hope to get it done before the deadline of early December.
I am off to grocery shop in the madness that is pre-Thanksgiving. Happy Turkey Day all! Eat, knit and be happy!
